How does this compare to NMN or NR capsules?
Oral precursors have to survive digestion and first-pass liver metabolism before any of it becomes usable NAD+. Subcutaneous NAD+ skips that, which is why the effective dose is far smaller.
Why does the injection burn?
Almost always injection speed. Pushing over 60 to 90 seconds instead of a few seconds resolves it for most people.
Do I need to cycle it?
Many people run it continuously. Your clinician may suggest a 5-on/2-off pattern depending on your response and goals.

Transient flushing, warmth or a pressure sensation at the injection site is the most commonly reported effect and is usually resolved by injecting more slowly. Nausea and lightheadedness occur less frequently and are generally dose-related.

Who this is not for

  • Injection-site flushing and warmth are common and dose-dependent
  • Inject slowly — rapid administration is the main cause of discomfort
  • Limited long-term human outcome data; mechanistic evidence is stronger than clinical
  • Not evaluated in pregnancy

What is NAD+ Injection?

NAD+ is a coenzyme present in every cell, required for the electron transfers that turn food into ATP.

Levels decline measurably with age, and that decline limits the activity of sirtuins and PARP enzymes that depend on NAD+ as a substrate for repair and gene regulation.

How NAD+ Injection works

  1. Week 1

Injection technique first. Pushing slowly is the single change that resolves the flushing most new patients report.

  2. 30 Days

The first subjective window. Most people describe a flatter energy curve rather than a stimulant-style lift.

  3. 3 Months

Repeat labs where we took a baseline. This is where we confirm the change is real rather than a placebo honeymoon.

  4. 6 Months

Dose and frequency get reviewed. Some patients drop to twice weekly with no loss of effect.

  5. 1 Year and Beyond

Long-term maintenance, often paired with glutathione, with a panel every six months to justify continuing.
